Origami Stool & Wearable Storage System

Developed during my exchange semester in Madrid, this project explores portability, material efficiency, and transformable design through a modular kraftboard structure inspired by origami folding principles. The lightweight system functions as a stable stool while remaining foldable and easy to transport.

Blurring the boundary between furniture and wearable design, the stool transforms into a compact backpack integrated with a vest. The wearable component incorporates storage for notebooks, sketchbooks, phones, and other daily essentials, allowing the object to adapt to different modes of use.

Through iterative prototyping and material testing, the project investigates how a single material and folding logic can generate multiple functions, creating a hybrid system that combines seating, storage, and mobility in one adaptable design.
